Keynote SIGOS provides active End-to-End Service quality testing and revenue assurance solutions to the telecommunications industry, offering test applications for mobile, fixed line and VoIP. It offers speech, data, messaging, and VAS service testing solutions; service quality monitoring, handset simulation, and revenue assurance and billing verification solutions; diagnosis and reporting tools; and roaming testing and core network testing solutions.[12]
End-to-End Service quality testing is a common test approach in the telecommunications industry, in addition to monitoring solutions. Whereas monitoring solutions look at the actual traffic on a network, End-to-End Service quality testing can be deployed on purpose. Example: calls (or other services, such as SMS, MMS) can be initiated in an automated way from one end to the other, testing if services are up and running in a favorable quality. A typical example for the deployment of active End-to-End Service quality testing-yet not limited to these examples-is the introduction of new services, the simulation of traffic volume that might be expected at a certain event, or service quality, e.g. in roaming situations.
SITE=SIGOS Integrated Test Environment
Active End-to-End testing for Service Quality Assurance
With the Keynote SIGOS SITE test system network operators host and work with their own testing facilities. Key here is the ability to integrate the system into the existing network infrastructure. Interfaces to complementary solutions, e.g. monitoring systems, are provided so that SITE can be easily integrated. The SITE test system’s architecture is modular.

GlobalRoamer allows mobile operators to verify that all services are available to their roaming customers worldwide. GlobalRoamer is an active end-to-end outbound roaming monitoring and troubleshooting system. GlobalRoamer provides the means to emulate the behaviour of real roamers, delivering fully end-to-end tests using mobile devices located in networks all over the world. Keynote SIGOS SIM Multiplexing technology allows the user’s SIMs to be virtually transmitted to any of these remote locations to create real calls. Complete, real time visibility of the resulting network messaging allows rapid fault resolution. Scheduling of tests allows the monitoring of high value destinations. GlobalRoamer alarms and reports alert network operators to failures or service degradation. Armed with this information engineering resources can be directed where they can be used most profitably in protecting high value roaming business.
